All Hail the King – The Master Plan Ahead Of The Modi Government!

Who’s ruling the global influencers list at the moment? Modi Modi! Modi! Not only is he known for his undying love for the nation, but also recognized and respected worldwide as the Prime Minister of the largest democracy. Keeping internationalism aside, a Prime Minister’s fundamental duty is to look after the internal matters of his country which brings us to the slowdown hit by the Modi Government 2.0.

With the hype around Article 370 and ‘Howdy Modi’ dying down, and fears of a global recession setting in, it’s time to focus on what matters the most – our country, our economy, and our people.

The master plan has a different story to say, let’s all dive deep into what the future holds for us.

  1. Farmers are in for a bumper crop!

The suicide of Indian farmers has almost become a tradition in Indian economy. With its roots unwavering in despair and poverty, the Modi Government decided to put an end to it. They believe that India farmers are totally unaware of the constantly rising demand for organic food worldwide and if efforts are taken to bridge the gap, the agricultural sector will touch the skies. At present, the government is on the run to get approval on two acts from the parliament concerning pesticides and distribution of domestic seeds.

Here on, the first step ahead from the mater considers spending of Rs. 3.5 lakh crore on the ‘Har Ghar Jal’ campaign under the debutant Jal Shakti ministry. The POSCO Amendment Act is waiting for assent by the President and pending infrastructure projects are looking to receive funds for completion. Is it in interests of the people or a campaign strategy for the upcoming state elections? Either way, if it is for the betterment of our nation, who cares about the underlying purpose?

  • New Kashmir is OUR Kashmir

As far as political matters are concerned, the revocation of Art 370 and 35(A) of the Indian Constitution has been the boldest move so far, provoking widespread criticism and support at the same time. Though the intention was at to unify the nation with one law, it certainly did not go down well with those in power.

We can expect some declarations regarding the new territories and (hopefully!) see the result we’ve been expecting.  In the international sphere, there’s an obvious inclination towards the most powerful nation on the Earth and its questionable President and the worldwide meet-and-greet campaign. Looks like space is the only place where the King does not have a court, yet!

  • The dream of $5 Trillion economy, in making…

As the slowdown gets real with every passing day, the pressure on the Modi govt to revive the economy is getting heavier and heavier. After the announcement of the merger of 10 public sector banks, the govt eyed the housing sector, so expecting bigger announcements related to it wouldn’t be a surprise. The government promises countercyclical measures including confidence-building steps for the private sector and sectoral incentives. It is also wise to be prepared in case of a tax cut. Will Modi be able to fulfill his dream of a $5 trillion economy in the face of these stubborn hurdles?

Not a single person can deny the fact that India has seen new heights during his reign, but it is also true that a lot of dirty controversies have come around. The common mass has bestowed King Modi with the unanimous trust for the second time in a row, only time will say if the king conquers the world and justifies the trust, or stumbles like the house of cards to leave us all regretful!
