Controversies and Bollywood has a close connection with each other. From hook-up rumours to break-up that creates hype in Bollywood. If we talk about today’s times; from Kangana’s upfront opinion about the foundation of Hindutva to Swara Bhaska’s protest and vocal confrontations about CAA (citizenship amendment bill). Whether it’s Anupam Kher or Anurag Kashyap –politics has now become a core reason for the social media war.Here are the list of controversies that created on Twitter confrontations.

Kangana Ranaut let the “Nation know” her opinions and sufferings amidst the nepotism issue in Bollywood prevailing recently. In a major outbreak; Kangana called Taapsee Pannu and Swara Bhaskar ‘needy outsiders’ and characterise them as B-Grade actresses. It was an offensive statement that resulted in both the actresses took to social media where they replied to Kangana’s offensive comments. Soon it became a big issue where people came out in support or criticise them.

The Bollywood Director’s face off! Karan Johar VS Ram gopal verma. When Karan Johar’s disaster creation Student of the year got released, Ram Gopal Verma tweeted this offended the director. In reply to that Karan Johar tweeted which got an excuse from Ram Gopal Verma that ultimately put full stop on the controversy.

When Shobhaa Dee published an article on I hate dumb stories which directly hit the Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor. After I hate love stories got released Shobhaa Dee published an article criticising it on which Sonam tweeted which she later regret it. “Guys please don’t take Shobhaa De seriously. She’s a fossil who’s getting no action and going through menopause. So just for her”. After releasing that she got personal on her, she again tweeted. “Mrs De I owe you an apology for getting personal. I’m ashamed for my momentary lapse in judgement. And apologetic. Every writer and journalist and audience is entitled to their opinion and I respect that”.Shobhaa also became a bigger person and appreciated her performance in Raanjhanaa.

When controversial British journalist and television personality Piers Morgan, tried to troll Indians for celebrating two silver medals in Rio Olympics, Chetan Bhagat proudly defended the nation.

When Bollywood Actresses Bipasha Basu and Ameesha Patel ended up wearing same dress at IIFA awards 2011. Bipasha decide to taunt the actress without mentioning her, while Ameesha also gave a befitting reply.

After the event, Bipasha tweeted, “Last night a fellow actress landed up wearing the same dress in a different colour as me on the green carpet! It was quite amusing even for me”.

As a response to which, Ameesha wrote, “Fortunately I don’t need to copy anyone…I know you all are upset at some nasty and unrequired comments made by another actor. But don’t be upset. I’m really unaffected.

The Controversy over Dabangg 2 direction. Anurag Kashyap was angry over Arbaaz Khan for replacing his brother Abhinav Kashyap to direct Dabangg 2, He tweeted on the same. However, after a few tweets back and forth, he admitted to his mistake and everything seems to be fine. Anurag tweeted “Salman Khan thinks he made my brother’s life, hope he does the same for Arbaaz when he does Dabangg 2″. On which Arbaaz replied “Salman Khan has already made my life with Dabangg and I appreciate it. I don’t need Dabangg 2 for that. We gave Abhinav an opportunity. Why wasn’t Anurag backing his brother at that time? Where was he when his brother was doing rounds of the industry with his script for two years?”

Anurag Kashyap later accept his mistake to end this matter “I wish them luck. I am thankful they gave my brother the break. I apologise to everyone (for the earlier comment). I was drunk and upset at the time. In reply to Arbaaz, the reason I didn’t support Abhinav is because my brother wanted to make it on his own without my help”.

The Fight over two prominent Ideologies, It was Kangana Ranaut VS kunal Kamra this time. Kangana and comic Kunal Kamra got into a battle, after she said that it takes a ‘otherworldly center to perceive’ dreams of the amusement world. Kunal retweeted her announcement and the contention started.

As they say “The Show must Goes on”. The controversies are a part of Bollywood industry and it will go on.
