Brezza Blows Like Breeze, “Maruti Sells 5 Lac Units of Vitara Brezza”

Maruti crosses more than 5 lac units in sales of BSVI compliant units. In particular, Maruti has sold around 5 lac units of Vitara Brezza within just 4 years of its launch.

The model was introduced in Auto Expo 2016 and had been appreciated by masses for its design and features. It became one of the best selling compact SUVs in the country.

Vitara Brezza has turned out to be one of the top ten highest selling cars in India. It has replaced the conventional designs of SUVs and is light in weight. It is as appealing as it sounds. The base variant starts from 7.73 lacs (ex-showroom) and reaches around 11 lacs (ex-showroom) for the top variant that is available with AMT.

Brezza is available with 1.3 litre DDis 200 diesel engine that has a power output of 90PS. It provides a torque of 200Nm. It comes in automatic and 5-speed manual transmission (AMT) as well. Brezza claims an average of 24.3 kmpl. Maruti is planning to introduce the petrol variant with 1.5-litre DDis engine in Auto Expo 2020. The same engine has already been placed in Ertiga and Ciaz that produce 105PS and 138 Nm.

What is benefiting the car is its dual-toned colour option. It has projector headlights and safety features of ABS with EBD. Brezza also includes an alarm that works as a high-speed warning alert.

Maruti sells approximately 10,000 units of Brezza every month. It has come out as one of the strongest models against Venue, Ecosport, Mahindra Xuv300.
