Hailing from the sweetest part of India, Arijit has cemented himself as one of the most prominent singers the nation has ever seen. He has an extremely soothing voice that never fails to make its way to the audience’s heart.
Arijit’s interest in music can be traced back to his childhood. He grew up in a family that revered music as much as he did. This added fuel to the fire already burning within him. However, the journey wasn’t a walk in the park. He went through his fair bit of struggle to gain his footing in Bollywood.
His first song, ‘Phir Mohabbat’ from Murder 2 in 2011, broke the internet and he was instantly admired by the critics and audiences alike for his beautiful voice.

Despite working on great songs in movies like Barfi, his songs from Aashiqui 2 were the ones that brought him into the spotlight. The songs Chahun Main Ya Na and Tum Hi Ho have become the love anthem for the entire nation. (Quite literally!)
After his success from Aashiqui 2, there was no looking back for Arijit. There’s hardly a film that doesn’t have at least one song that says ‘Singer: Arijit Singh’.
