MANISHA SUPPORTING CONTROVERSIAL MAP OF NEPAL.

On May 18 Nepal cabinet rubber-stamp a fresh political map of Nepal which shows places like Limpiyadhura, Lipulekh and Kalapani as a part of their territory. Nepal Foreign Minister Pradeep Gyawali took his social media handle and wrote, “ The official map is being made public by the Ministry of Land Management soon. On May 20 India vigorously rejected Nepal’s decision to circulating a revised map.

Anurag Shrivastava, spokespersons of Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), mentioned, “ This unilateral action is not based on historical facts and evidence. Such artificial enlargement of territorial claims will not be accepted by India”. On the other hand making remark on the assertion made by MEA, Nepalese Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli said that territories are the union of Nepal but India has made it disputed area by keeping its army there.

While the tension between both the countries still not break off, Manisha Koirala who born in Kathmandu, she is Nepalese politician Prakash Koirala’s daughter and granddaughter of Bishweshwar Prashad Koirala who was Prime Minister of Nepal from 1959 to 1960, made a statement amid a border dispute between India and Nepal over Kalapani and Lipulekh, using her twitter handle that, “ Thank you for keeping the dignity of our small nation. We are looking forward to a peaceful and respectful dialogue between all three great nation’s now” referring to India, Nepal and China.

This made Indians very exasperated and she had to face back clash onwards. Her tweet got 2,700 replies full of hate as it didn’t go well with Indians. Please go earn in Nepal, you are supporting illegal map of Nepal. That’s not ended here few also wrote that the Indian Film Industry gave you fame all across the globe and money and that how you repay us were some reply that she got after tweeting over the controversial disputes.
