UPCOMING SHOW AND FILM, If you are having a regular flow of money, a house to live in and food on your plate, you are definitely having one of the most relaxing times of your lives. Keeping away from stress and anxiety due to the lockdown, increasing COVID-19 cases and woes of lakhs of people due to financial restraints is extremely essential during this time when you’re locked up at home. At this stage, the online streaming platforms are keeping everybody safe and sound and INDOORS by providing unlimited entertainment. So let’s have a look at the upcoming shows and movies that are going to be released on OTT Platforms this week.

  1. Sadak 2- This Mahesh Bhatt directorial film starring Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt is all set to get a digital release on August 28. This is a sequel to a super hit 1991 film by the same director, Sadak. Releasing several years after the original movie, the sequel deals with the story of the characters of Aliya and Sanjay teaming up to expose a fake spiritual guru and his ashram. The movie will be streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.
  2. Masaba Masaba– Designer Masaba Gupta is making her onscreen debut with this series that deals with a fictionalized version of herself. Her real-life mother, Neena Gupta is also in the film and playing a version of herself. The story will revolve around the designer’s daily life and crisis and her complicated relationship with her mother. This movie has a number of cameo scenes of famous personalities from the fashion and entertainment industry and stars Gajraj Rao, Rytasha Rathore, Neil Bhoopalam etc. The movie will be streaming on Netflix.
  3. I am a Killer: Released- This series is a spinoff of the original show ‘I am a Killer’ that narrated the lies of inmates who committed capital crimes. The spinoff will follow the life of Dale Wayne Sigler who was convicted for committing cold-blooded murder. He was being released after 30 years in prison and the story primarily focuses on how he adjusts with his civilian life and covers three years of his life post his release. The movie will be streaming on Netflix.
  4. Phineas and Ferb The Movie: Candace Against the Universe- We can all admit that resorting to our childhood cartoon characters and stories gives us the maximum comfort during the traumatic pandemic. Our favourite Disney Channel is bringing to us the second feature-length movie based on the TV series of Phineas and Ferb which was all about the adventures of the two brothers that they undertake, much to the annoyance of their older sister Candace. In this movie, Candace is abducted by aliens and taken to a different planet far away and how Phineas and Ferb rescues her. The movie will be streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.

All of the aforementioned movies are being released on August 28 along with the movies Prime Rewind: Inside The Boys and Get Duked.
