Police said the Republic TV founder was being examined for his supposed part in the passing of a designer who planned his studio. Anvay Naik took his life in 2018 and his significant other blamed Mr Goswami for not paying his expense. On which Mr Goswami and Republic TV network deny the claim. Mr Naik and his mother were discovered dead in May 2018 at their home in Alibaug area of the western territory of Maharashtra. Mr Naik’s better half said he left a self-destruction note in which he reprimanded Mr Goswami for his passing. She has been crusading via web-based media for the case to be explored altogether. Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh as of late arranged an uncommon group to research the case. “Alibaug police captured Goswami under section 306 (abetment of self-destruction), and 34 (acts done by people in the promotion of regular expectation) of the Indian Penal Code. The guild calls upon a chief minister of Maharashtra to ensure that Goswami is treated fairly and state power is not used against critical reporting by the media,” the guild said in a statement.
