Sonu Sood is also one among them who is not less than the angel for those stranded migrant workers who do not have enough money to buy food or for them who are willing to get back to their homes.
In an interview with Hindustan Times, Sonu Sood spoke about his initiatives, the actor said “It has been an extremely emotional journey for me, as my heart pains to see these migrants staying away from their homes and trying to walk all the way home. I will continue sending migrants home until the last migrant reunites with his family. This is something really close to my hearts and I will give it my all.”
Sonu Sood who has already sent 12,000 migrant workers to their homes, now launched a toll-free number under his “Ghar Chalein” mission. He took to Twitter to inform about this toll-free number and wrote all those who want to get back to their home can either call or WhatsApp on this number. He doesn’t want to miss any of the migrant workers so he launched this toll-free number.
And that’s not enough, he has offered his Juhu hotel for healthcare workers, distributed food and necessary commodities among the unprivileged and fed 25,000 migrants during Ramzan.
Sonu Sood mentioned he has a team of dedicated people who are helping him to try and reach each and every migrant in need of help.
Seeing his selfless efforts many celebrities and politicians couldn’t stop themselves to praise him. Actor and politician Smriti Irani, Ajay Devgan, and Shikhar Dhawan praised him and also thanked him for helping the migrants.
With this Sonu Sood, a reel life villain turned to the real-life hero in the heart of thousands.
