All the fans were inquisitively holding back for season 6 of the Netflix series, Black Mirror. It is one of the most popular shows on Netflix whose story revolves around the impacts of new technologies in modern societies. However, the creator, Charlie Brooker dropped a bombshell on them by stating that he decided to put a hold on the series due to the prevailing situations in the wake of the pandemic.

When Brooker was asked about an update of season 6 by Radio Times, he exclaimed that he has been busy doing other things and further on he added- “At the moment, I don’t know what stomach there would be for stories about societies falling apart, so I’m not working away on any one of those. I’m sort of keen to revisit my comic skill set, so I’ve been writing scripts aimed at making myself laugh.”
Certain people responded to the delay through numerous tweets which are as followed-
Even though this has left the fans heartbroken, we can expect something more mood lightening from Brooker as he is delving deep into his comical skills.
