Chattisgarh Govt. launched ‘Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyaya Yojna’

Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyaya Yojna, The Government of Chhattisgarh launched a welfare scheme for the peasants of the state on the death anniversary of former prime minister Rajiv Gandhi. C.M Bhupesh Baghel has named it ” Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyaya Yojana”. He launched this scheme online.

About the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyaya Yojna
Under this scheme, about  19 lakh farmers of the state will be given 5,750 crore in installments. The first installment of Rs 1500 crore has been transferred online to the accounts of the farmers. On this occasion, beneficiaries were connected from all the districts via video conferencing. C.M. Bhupesh Baghel has said that this scheme will provide equal justice to all the farmers of the state.

Chief Minister said that Chattisgarh will be successful in removing the stigma of being a poor state in the subsequent four years. This scheme will usher in a new phase of prosperity in the lives of the farmers of the state. Among the beneficiaries of the scheme, 90% are small marginal farmers belonging to scheduled castes, scheduled tribes, backward classes and poor sections. Under this, farmers will be given Rs 10,000 per acre for paddy cultivation and Rs 13,000 per acre for sugar cultivation. Chief Minister said, this scheme will benefit 9,53,706 marginal farmers, 3,20,844 big farmers and 5,60,284 small farmers.

Landless farmers will also be benefitted
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has said that this scheme will include landless farmers too. He said that they have constituted a committee headed by the Chief Secretary of the state to prepare a plan. Within two months, this committee will prepare and submit a proposal for an action plan to the cabinet.

Congress Leaders welcomed this scheme
Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, and other senior congress leaders have appreciated this scheme. Sonia Gandhi said that Rajiv Ji had immense love for farmers and laborers in his heart. From time to time, he used to go among them, communicate directly, and tried to know everyday problems. He believed that farmers and agriculture are the real capital of India’s development.

Rahul Gandhi welcomed this scheme.
