Being stuck at home for indefinite time has turned our attention to movies on Netflix like Lift boy and Axone. Axone especially, due to its layered diversity of two parts of India, North and Northeast has gained many accolades among the audience. From the realistic storyline within the dingy streets of Delhi neighborhood where hundreds of north-easterners seek refuge to the casual and often threatening racial discrimination that they are exposed on a daily basis is pretty eye-opening as well as entertaining. Sayani Gupta- An actress who has often appeared in Hindi movies debuted in 2012 with the movie Second Marriage Dot Com. Since she has appeared in movies like Fan, Parched, Margarita with a Straw, Jolly LLB 2, and Article 15 as supporting actress.
He was also seen in web series like Four More Shots and Inside Edge.
Tenzin Dalha- He is a Tibetan origin Indian actor who was first seen in the movie Margarita with a Straw alongside Kalki Koechlin. Before Axone, he had worked with Sayani Gupta in the aforesaid movie. He was also a part of the Netflix film Guilty.
Lin Laishram- An international model, entrepreneur, and actress, Lin plays the part of Chanbi in Axone. She is one of the lead actresses and perfect for the role. She has previously appeared in movies like Mary Kom, Rangoon, Qaidi Band, and Om Shanti Om.
Dolly Ahluwalia- This Indian actress and costume designer is not a very unfamiliar face. She was seen in movies like Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana, Love Aaj Kal, and Vicky Donor.
Merenla Imsong- Imsong is an epitome of jack of all trades with her acting skills, comedic streak, and a knack for directing. She made her first film debut with Shuruaat ka Twist in 2019, followed by Axone. She was also a part of The Anushree Express. Her comedy went viral with her YouTube video called Presumptuous chinky assumes the North Indian way.
Adil Hussain- Adil Hussain is an Indian actor who has not only worked for Bollywood films like English Vinglish, Parched, Zed Plus but also international cinema, like Life of Pi, The Reluctant Fundamentalist, etc. He too is a recognized face whose acting is smooth and flawless.
